Minutes of July 28, 2008 Special Council Meeting
Attendance: Mayor Warren Hillukka. Beverly Burke, John Feldman, Deb Stanhope, Kyle Dorion
Absent: Greg Wilmer
Present: Nancy Thompson and Lisa Penn
Others present: none
Meeting called to order at 5:40 p.m., by Mayor Hillukka.
- Mayor Hillukka appoints Nancy Thompson as City Auditor. Motion by Feldman, second by Dorion, to accept mayor’s appointment of auditor. Motion carries.
- City Auditor Nancy Thompson appoints Lisa Penn as Deputy Auditor. Motion to accept by Feldman, second by Dorion. Motion carries.
- Motion by Feldman, second by Burke to approve final bills for July. Motion carries.
- Motion by Dorion, second by Feldman to go with Valley Landfills garbage rate increase of 20%. Motion carries.
- Motion by Feldman, second by Stanhope to increase water rates to $6.00 per thousand and increase water connect fee to $7.20 and sewer to $6.00 plus 10% of water. Motion carries.
Motion by Burke to adjourn at 6:20 pm.
