Present: Beverly Burke, Debbie Stanhope, John Feldman, Nancy Thompson, and Mayor Warren Hillukka. Absent: Rick Senum, Kyle Dorion
Others Present: Aud./Admin. Kathy Johnson, Gary Helland
Call to order at 7:05 p.m.
1. Oaths of office administered. Sworn in were Stanhope, Burke and Feldman as council members, and Hillukka as mayor.
2. Motion by Burke, second by Thompson, to elect Feldman as council president. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Feldman, second by Thompson, to elect Burke as council vice president. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Hillukka recommends the following appointments: Dan Johnson of Widseth, Smith Nolting as City Engineer, Kathy Johnson as Auditor/Administrator, and Neil Fleming as city attorney. Motion by Burke, second by Thompson, to approve these appointments. Motion carried unanimously. Johnson sworn in as Auditor/Administrator.
3. Mayor Hillukka recommends the following committees and boards (see attached), Motion by Burke, second by Thompson, to approve these appointments. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Following appeal, motion was made by Feldman, second by Burke, to grant an extension to renters up to July 31, allowing rent payment to be prorated and delayed until moved out. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Motion by Feldman, second by Burke, to approve liquor license renewals which are paid in full by the date due. Roll call vote: Ayes: Burke, Stanhope and Feldman. Nays: none. Not voting for conflict of interest: Thompson. Absent and not voting: Dorion and Senum. Motion carries.
6. July meeting will proceed on the 3rd as a quorum should be present.
7. Motion to adjourn by Burke, 7:50 p.m.
