Present: Warren Hillukka, John Feldman, Richard Senum, Beverly Burke, Nancy Thompson, Kyle Dorion, and City Auditor/Administrator Kathy Johnson. Absent: Patrick Burton
Call to order at 7:00 p.m.
1. Oath of Office was taken by newly elected Mayor Warren Hillukka and council members Richard Senum, Nancy Thompson, and John Feldman.
2. Appointment of Council vacancy – Motion by Burke, second by Feldman, to accept the mayor’s appointment of Kyle Dorion to fill the vacant council position. Motion carried unanimously.
3. Other Appointments - Motion by Burke, second by Senum, to accept the mayor’s appointment Kathy Johnson to city auditor/administrator, Daniel Gaustad of Pearson, Christensen as city attorney, and Daniel Johnson of Widseth, Smith, Nolting as city engineer. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Council officers – Motion by Senum, second by Burke, to elect John Feldman as council president. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Senum, second by Thompson, to elect Bev Burke as council vice president. Motion carried unanimously.
5. The Committee list was reviewed. Motion by Dorion, seconded by Feldman, to combine water/sewer committee with the street committee. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Feldman, second by Senum, to approve those committee appointments recommended by the mayor (as attached). Motion carried unanimously.
6. Mosquito Contract Bids were opened, attached. Motion by Feldman, second by Dorion, to accept the low bid of Red River Repair. Motion carried unanimously.
7. Motion to adjourn by Burke, 7:40 p.m.
