Official Special Meeting Minutes for May 16, 2024, Summer Help – Water Tower Color – CD possibilities

Date: May 16^th, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.

Location: Professional Building

Present: Mayor Mike Fitzgerald, Jeff Watts, Ken Norby, Connor Snitker

Absent: Pat Burton, Al Huttunen

One Seat Vacant

Guests: Teri Stoiber, Greg Korpatnicki

Special Meeting called to order at 6:31 p.m.

Agenda:

1. Summer help wages & start date:
   1. Greg would like to have them start 5/28/24, if available.
   2. Kade Schafer to start at $17/hr
   3. LaRochel Steyn to start at $18.50/hr. (experienced, returning employee)
   4. Lance Santiago to start at $17/hr.

Motion by Connor to accept the start date and wages. 2^nd by Jeff. All ayes present. Motion carries.

2. Water Tower Color

Motion by Jeff to have water tower in Laser Blue with Pembina in White. 2^nd by Connor. All ayes present. Motion carries.

3. CD Possibilities for $238,145.72 investment plus Flood Account CD of $11,854.28 for a total of $250,000
   1. Kodabank’s best is a 9 month at 4.75%--Teri to call and try to negotiate 5% for 1 year.
4. Close Kodabank Flood Account CD matured 5/12/24 and roll into above

Motion by Connor to roll Flood Account CD along with $238,145.72 investment into a CD at Kodabank. Second by Jeff. All ayes present. Motion carries.
