Official Minutes for May 24th, 2021, Pembina City Council Special Meeting
Council Members Present: Mayor Mike Fitzgerald, President Jeff Watts, Greg Koropatnicki, Pat Burton
Absent: VP Ron Fritz, Jennifer Martin and Allen Huttunen
City Employees Present: Lisa Hall/Auditor, Gary Helland/Public Works Superintendent
Others present: none
Meeting called to order by Mayor Fitzgerald at 6:00 p.m.
- Mowing bid: One bid was received from Red River Freight for $1725.00 per time for specified acres in South Pembina. Koropatnicki declared his conflict of interest because of his employment and he might be called out to help with that mowing. Motion by Watts second by Burton to allow Koropatnicki to participate in discussion. Motion by Watts second by Burton to accept the bid from Red River freight. Ayes all present. Motion carries.
- Summer Help application: Another application was received for summer help from Kayla Fritz. Motion by Burton to hire Kayla Fritz at $12.00 per hour with a 45 day probation. Burton rescinds his motion. Motion by Burton second by Watts to hire Kayla Fritz at $12.00 an hour. Ayes all present. Motion carries.
- Speed bumps: They will be installed this year.
Motion to adjourn by Watts at 6:28 p.m.
