Special Meeting Minutes

Wednesday January 28, 2009

Present:  Mayor Warren Hillukka, Bev Burke, John Feldman, Kyle Dorion& Greg Wilmer. Auditor / Administrator Nancy Thompson, Deputy Auditor Lisa Penn

Absent: Debbie Stanhope & Pat Burton

 

Call to Order 4:35 P.M.

 

Motion by Feldman second by Dorion to accept January 12th minutes.  Motion carries.

Council reviewed financials and discussed the bigger expenses the city had in 2008 and that they were a one time expense. Council discussed money saving options. Motion by Feldman second by Dorion to discontinue compost bin with Waste Management.  Motion carries. Wilmer will look into different composting options for the City. Motion by Wilmer second by Burke to discontinue Village Family Services. Motion carries. Motion by Feldman second by Dorion to go with Greg Wilmer’s recommendation on tires for blue tractor. Motion carries.

 

  

Motion by Burke to adjourn the meeting, 6:05 p.m.
