Special Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm
Agenda:
- Tax Equalization Meeting –
o 4/23/24 No one aired any grievances about property taxes
o 4/23/24 Not enough council members for a quorum
o 4/23/24 Vote postponed until April 29th, 2024, at 6 p.m. in City Offices
o 4/23/24 Zelda discussed boundary lines and delineations for various properties
o 4/23/24 Zelda passed signature page to Mike Fitzgerald
o 4/23/24 Zelda provided everyone present with a copy of the 2024 Pembina City Value Changes list to review
o 4/23/24 Zelda presented her book for anyone to read through
o 4/23/24 Zelda said that anyone over 65 or disabled and earning less than $70,000/year can apply for the Homestead Credit/Renters Credit
o 4/23/24 Teri paid Zelda for her work, had her complete W9 so she will receive a 1099NEC this year
o 4/29/24 Council present reviewed Zelda’s work
o 4/29/24 Signature page passed around and signed by
o 4/29/24 Al made a motion to accept the report as presented. This was seconded by Pat. All Ayes present. Motion carries.
