Students will be filling sandbags. Filled bags will be put on pallets and put in various locations so they are ready to use.
Rural residents can contact the City for getting sandbags.

Fire Chief Jon Kalka stated that if the fire alarm goes off please do not panic.  It does NOT mean that the levy has been breached. 

Once it is announced that the Command Center is open all volunteers are greatly appreciated.The phone will need monitoring at all times and dike walkers will be needed when that level is reached.
