Official Minutes for September 8th, 2020, Pembina City Council Budget Hearing
Council Members Present: Mayor Mike Fitzgerald, Vice President Ron Fritz, Jeff Watts, Pat Burton, Greg Koropatnicki, Jennifer Martin
Absent: Al Huttunen
Others present: Trevor Kneeshaw
Meeting called to order by Mayor Fitzgerald at 5:05 p.m.
Discussion was held on raising taxes and that instead of doing so council would rather find another way to raise funds. Motion by Watts second by Burton to keep the total mill levy’s the same as last year. Ayes all present. Motion carries.
Jennifer Martin joins meeting at 5:10 p.m.
Further discussion was held on the mills and how to assign them. Will make final decision at regular council meeting. Add to next meeting’s agenda water and sewer rates and mill levy division.
Meeting adjourned by Fritz at 6:17 p.m.
